Ingredients:
– 450g egg noodles
– 1 large onion, diced
– 1 head of cabbage, shredded
– 170g unsalted butter
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Cook the egg noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.

3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until translucent.

4. Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion. Sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage has softened and slightly browned.

5. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss with the cabbage and onion mixture until well combined.

6. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley, if desired.
