You Have Left an Empty Space

In the chambers of my heart, a void so deep,
In the midst of memories, your absence I keep,
A silence lingers where your laughter once resided,
In the landscape of my soul, you’re deeply embedded.

Memories echo in the corners of my mind,
A treasure trove of moments, so hard to leave behind,
Your smile, your touch, your voice’s gentle grace,
All etched in time, like a sacred, cherished place.

The world moves on, but I stand still,
In the shadow of your absence, I feel the chill,
Your absence is a puzzle, a mystery to embrace,
A testament to the love we couldn’t replace.

But though you’re gone, you’re not truly lost,
In the whispers of the wind and the morning frost,
In the beauty of the stars that grace the night,
In the soft, golden glow of the fading light.

You live on in the stories we still share,
In the laughter, the tears, the moments we dare,
To remember, to honor, to hold in our embrace,
The love that remains in that empty space.
